Here's another buffer!It's nothing graceful or epic, but more of a comparison of how much 'evolving' doodling has gotten over the past month(s)
The one on the right is from April 2014; dramatically, it is the most original thing ever, from feet to head.
Fastforward and you get something on the left hand side; where it is still the most un-inspired thing ever, no impossible swords, or belts, or zippers, or cool(?)
BUT
Interpretation is yours alone to master. It's up to you to make it fun! So what if it looks like a plain-as coughlucraniossplutter?!
Don't like how lucario's leg stands? Change it! Or his paw things? Change it! Don't like him in general?! Well, you just made a new character!

Well I wanted to say something about what you mentioned in the description first so lets get that out of the way. Β To me the most memorable designs are those that are simple but showcase what the artist does best. I know a lot of people like the over sized weapons and hundred belt/zipper outfits, but to me it always felt like they're only there because either the character (or worse the artist) were compensating for something. Point being I don't feel you should beat yourself up over unoriginality, when simple designs can be subtle while still showcasing your style well.
Anyways though I'm getting off topic. Yes, the fancy suits are nice. Dapper outfits are always a soft-spot for me, and yup, this is no different.
