Description
The chop wood series. There are a lot, a few not to well focused, but maybe useful to someone. Lots of duplicate poses, but I think they will be good for those studying musculature since this model has about 5% body fat, everything stands out. I do not recommend chopping wood in bare feet, but this is the same guy who puts his hands in the fire....*sigh*link if you use.

lol
yeah, he's got that part down. He hit a knot a one point, got really stuck. I had my staple gun ready for closing gaping wounds.

Personally, I use a double-bladed one, I like the straight handle better, and the balance is a bit more equal. The head is thinner, so it cuts a bit deeper, althought wedges are sometimes needed.
I'm going to have a lot of chain-sawing to do, however, since I have a few trunks left to slice up. Talk about having some sawdust...guess I'll spread it over the flower beds...

Personally, i've had a gas logs put in the fire place. No more logs and the bugs that go with them, dirt, ashes, constant tending, smoke, banking for bed. Not to mention dealing with the logs.
Sawdust in the flower beds....hmmm...termites aught to like that.

Well, I do hate weeds, so maybe it's a trade-off...

Hmmmm, don't know about that. Use to use cedar mulch (i thought termites didn't like cedar, apparently they do not discriminate) infested with termites. Had a tree removed and the stump ground. The termites sent me a thank you letter. Now i am in a quandry. Concrete? The latest idea is weed barrier with rocks on top. lol, still like the green concrete idea. I'm just too lazy and too disinterested in gardening for this.

We have a firm that comes and sprays every few months for termites, ants, carpenter bees, to keep them at bay, since we are in the 'woods' out here...
