Okay, after some years I decided to make a tutorial on how I make my vexels work. Most of the stuff in here can apply to vector doing, the only thing that varies is the software you use to make them.

Just to share some tips that I really find important whenever I do a vexel. Maybe it's not the easiest or more practical way of doing things but it has worked for me a lot. To mouse users, you'll need to be very patient, I started my vexels with a mouse and yeah, it was very difficult but I got used to it, I even used the pencil tool on Illustrator... oh, those where the days.
