Description These characters are fun to draw. It definately breaks up the monotony of doing a weekly comic for a long period of time. Drew this at work so it's a bit scribbley. So which one's your favorite Jetsons or Flintstones and why?

I like aspects of both. The Jetsons movie was one of my favorites when I was a kid and "Rockin' with Judy Jetson", but the Flintstones are great too. I like the live action movies they made of them, even if they are really cheesy.

This is a fun picture.

I just got the movie after years of not seeing it. I haven't sat down to view it yet, but I still have fond memories of that film in my childhood.

Yeah I was pretty excited about it coming out on dvd. I had seen it in the theaters as a pre-teen so naturally some of the action and Judy's romances seemed a lot more exciting then, but it was still really fun! I still remember seeing it with my family in the theater because my dad got bored and sneaked out to catch the end of Dick Tracy playing in the next room over.

Well, The Flintstones and Jetsons crossed paths before. It couldn't hurt a second time. Amazing work.

Thanx. Since I was at work I couldn't make it as clean as I usually do, but I think it suits them. Well the Flintstones anyway.

They were both best in their early episodes, but I liked Flintstones more, which is more entertaining as a teen than it was as a kid. I like how the cavemen are a little extra scribbly compared to the future guy cuz they seem more primitive.

I'm glad you liked it and that you noticed the scribbleyness of Fred and Barney. I did the same thing in this one [link] and liked the idea. You'll also notice that George is paler than Fred since Fred spends all of his work days out in the sun and George hardly gets out.

I prefer the Flinstones. Can't say why exactly, but I do. I think it's partically because it dared to be different. It WAS the first animated series on primetime, and was the first cartoon to have a pregnancy and deal with adoption. I think it was the first show on TV to have a husband and wife in the same bed as well.

Flintstones, because I liked neolithicy crap rather than futuristic crap. Nuff said.

Just never really liked the Jetsons... at all.

Btw, This is awesome as always Sean. Love the way you've drawn Fred.

Thanx. I always have fun drawing him. I've also had more fun drawing George as I learn how to do it better.

I saw the film where the Jetsons -by virtue of Elroy's Time Machine- visit the Flintstones -and the best crack was the Jetsons wondering if they went into a post-apocalyptic FUTURE ! The film was NOT perfect and a certain computer never got punished...possibly by acid poured into its brain !
