Description Never use them near bodies of water if you have the water settings on high instead of low or ultra.

I will say I'm finally used to this standard of modelling with said submesh faces, but 2D faces will always hold a special place in my heart. As fucking corny as that sounds.

How do we fix the problem with 3D Submeshed faces near the water?

In the TANE launcher, change the water settings from "High" to "Ultra". High skips certain parts of models, like the 3D submesh faces. Ultra does not, so you get the face reflections.

Well you've done pretty well. I'd give you at least 95% for effort.

(You only lose 5% for an incorrect detail in my books - but then I suppose it could work as part of her pre-Sodor story)

Still, you get an A all in all...

Oh, this isn't pre-Sodor. It's post-Sodor. I'm sure a lot of people agree but she looks much better in red than her lavender livery.

At any rate I've fixed the issue with the submesh faces; it was a matter of raising the water quality settings from High to Ultra.

  PLUS ULTRA!!!!!

Glad to hear you got those issues sorted.

Just giving you my fair opinion, mind...you still have 95% from me.

No problem, understood. It's a satisfactory number at any rate, and to know someone's given me a rating like that is comforting.
