Species: Saigu Helthar
Height at the shoulder: 50 cm at the shoulder
Anthro form: height 180 cm, thin, quite muscular.
Sexuality: Never really thought about it since he has always been a loner, but then he found (and saved) Kegan.
Mate: Kegan ("the best worst thing that has ever happened to him", as he use to say)
Personality: Has the typical personality of the loner guy, but he's a good guy even if he doesn't trust anyone and has a soft spot for Kegan (basically Kegan can do things that would piss him off in a second). He's a good fighter, but doesn't really like to get his paws dirty without a good reason.
Backstory: He has always been a loner, especially after his siblings and friends left him alone in a pyramid they where exploring in order to find something that humans left there thousands of years before, when he was very young. While he was trying to get out of that place, he found a bracelet/tail-ring snake-shaped and brought it with him. When he managed to get out after a day, he started to get more and more isolated, until one night he left his pack without saying a word, taking away only his tail-ring, which had become something important to him. He started to live as a loner until, after some months, he inadvertently saved Kegan, a young fennec fox that was fighting with some foxes to get away with a dead bird. Ryu attacked the foxes and made them run away and brought Kegan to the nearest oasis, where he regained his strength quickly. After that, Kegan started to follow Ryu, even if he threatened him to kill him, but after some time he started to appreciate the company because he felt that he would never betray him as his family did and, with time, the two got even closer than simple friends. One day Ryu brought to their den a couple of earings for Kegan that he found in the pyramid where he got lost a year before.
Special abilities: Pyrokenesis: He has always wanted to learn how to control fire, but he left before he could begin the true training. Anyway, an elder of his pack that was taught under a Pyro Master taught Ryu some things about it, enough to control small-medium flames without destroying everything. He doesn't care about becoming a Pyro Master and uses his abilities mainly to fight and hunt, trying to improving them without help. As we know, he never destroyed anything. Kegan particularly loves watching him hunting and practicing with them. When Ryu's angry or in danger, he can use some weird blue flames, but usually he has many difficulties to control them.
