Description Ref photo: www.google.com.mx/search?hl=es… :

This was almost like a week (or more) like an unfinished WIP :/ but finally I finish it XD, it took me a little less than I expected -w-
Try to work with the original colors of the photo but it did not look good so, at least for the wolf, I decided to use a palette of more reddish colors. I really have to try to draw more complete bodies instead of just headshots T-T
The snow was fun to draw but I do not know if it looks as good as I expected ;-;

Please tell me what you think I could improve :3

(Also, this is something small but I'm putting my username instead of the mini M I put, I do not know just to ask what it looks like )

This looks awesome! Very realistic!
I think adding red to the fur was a great idea because it really makes the wolf stand out against the cooler, blue snow.

The fur looks wonderful, as well!

Thank you ;w;
Haha yeah, I think it also makes a Little more interesting the drawing -u-

Haha thanks, I found a brush that draw like in pointillism, but when I tried to look for it again I lost it -w-'

Clicked on this and was like 'o ma gawd, that's not a photo?'
You freaking nailed this one! Look at da furrrrr! Apple Bottom Jeans, Boots wit da furrrr!
Fur is so hard to colour!!!!!!!!!! But this looks perfect
I know what you mean about the doing more headshots- I think I do that too XD
It's just because backgrounds are harder to do, or at least that's with me. And it's good that your pushing yourself and trying.
Also- WHAT IS IT WITH TALENTED ARTISTS NEVER LIKING THEIR ART!? It really is true that an artist's worst critic is themselves.

Hehe thanks ^^
It's not that hard to color, but rather to make colors look good XD Thank you ^^
Yes, I just like them because they are easier and faster to draw XD
I was actually practicing the vanishing points but I couldn't stand it and I took a break from drawing for a while -.- '
In general I also find them more complicated, they have too many details and I have very little patience XD Landscapers make it look so easy, but it takes me a long time to make a decent landscape XD
Honestly I tend to compare myself a lot with other artista. I know that many say that this should not be done, but it was thanks to it that I wanted and I really started to improve in the drawing :b, I am also afraid that if I ever have the opportunity to enter an art university someday and ask for some kind of scholarship, do not accept me or give it to me because I am not up to it.

I understand what you're saying. I compare myself with other people's work as well, but as you said, I think it just makes you try harder, and a little competition to spice things up can really get your head in the game.  I think that's just the little voice in the back of your head telling you you won't get in. I think it's more so if you know what you're doing and so have enough experience to embrace- but to be completely honest I'm really scared of university and so don't really know much about it let alone art university. But I do know that all universities are looking for some kind of confidence for them to embrace in you and so bring out your hardest-working self. So overall I would say it's more about passion and knowing what you're doing than what your art looks like. ... Oh, I went on a rant there

  It looks horrible, sorry ;-; but this is like a mini tutorial of how I drew snow.

My advice is that you start from the most general and then go into detail, for example:
First put the base color, then just put patches where you go to see shadow or brightness and then blur them and add details or adjust if there is a lot of shadow or brightness to make it look more realistic. Also,  use many shades of blue, this makes it look more realistic and also makes the drawing more interesting as for the bright parts I think is better to use light yellow.
This I think is one of the most important things and it is always better to work with a reference.
Finally, this is something I did not put in the mini tutorial (if it can even be call a tutorial :b), but something that makes the work a bit easier is to first make a sketch to know where to color, shade, etc. and then when I already have the basics I quit it and start working on the details.

Honestly I almost do not draw snow so I'm not sure if these are the best tips to draw it, but I hope to help somehow

Haha thanks ^^ I'm glad you like it
