Phew....well I hope by now you can see what I mean? Just look at the level of artwork on this page and then compare it to what came before? Quite the jump. Quite proud of the steps I've managed to take along this comic. Well I certainly plan to do more issue of this comic for certain sure. Just needΒ a bit more time to plan it all out and get the dialogue all edited. Thanks very much Evan for beating me with a stick until I made good artwork, I'm ready for more!

Just to clarify, I'm a reader and a writer; not an artist. All I know regarding style, technique and so on is what I do and don't like, so I'll just stick to the story in terms of critique. And since I have great difficulty remembering comic plotlines, it's like I'm reading this for the first time.
Maybe it's just my personal opinion, but narratives in comics very rarely come across well. Yeah, they make their point faster, but it's cheap in terms of "show, not tell". I have to compliment theΒ in media resΒ introduction, though. Gradual lead-up tends to bore readers, especially for a first issue when people are trying to decide whether a comic is worth their attention, so that was a good call.
Maybe I just have a bad memory, but I don't recall that giant artifact they found here playing any role in the overall story despite the fact that Ebony clearly considered it very important and even exhibited some catty possessiveness. And where the heck did Ebony get a magical foozle that conveniently controls Super's Chaos energy? I mean, seriously... NO side-effects?! I don't want to say it's unrealistic, but it does smack of too much chance.
Super's appearance at first seemed to be one of those mandatory cameos, but when Metal declared his mission complete and escaped, then Dr Zachary revealed his involvement, the beginning of a deeper story started to tease at my curiosity. I can't help wondering how Zachary got Metal and why he needed to scan Super Sonic.
Everything here at the end points to a well-organized plot, layers of deep-thinking, and a good balance of showing just enough to get people hooked while also saving plenty for later.

Why do they keep on calling him Super Sonic

Its not just Super Sonic, its Fleetway Super Sonic

But he's not CALLED Fleetway, that's just a name given to him by the fans to distinguish him from the transformation in the usual Sonic games
