In this picture you can see the six spacescrapers of Iari'Mhatep, arranged from left to right according to the number of inhabitants. On the left, the seventh building, you can see the Burj Khalifa, the tallest real building in the world, for size comparison. (This means that little gray line on the left, no, that's not a spot on your monitors).

The second building from the left is the 2100 m high Holton Building. It is named after Holton-Construction. Founded by Nathaniell Holton, this company is still one of the largest companies in architecture, construction and real estate in 2375. Auf diesem Bild sind die sechs Spacescraper von Iari‘Mhatep zu sehen, von links nach rechts angeordnet nach der Zahl der Bewohner. Ganz links als siebentes Gebäude ist das Burj Khalifa zu sehen, das höchste reale Gebäude der Welt, zum Größenvergleich.(Damit ist dieser kleine graue Strich ganz links gemeint, nein das ist kein Fleck auf euren Monitoren).

Das zweite Gebäude von links ist das 2100 m hohe Holton-Building. Benannt ist es nach Holton-Construction. Diese von Nathaniell Holton gegründete Firma ist auch im Jahr 2375 noch eine der größten Unternehmen in den Bereichen Architektur, Baugewerbe und Immobilienhandel. In den 80ern des 21. Jahrhundert, als sie das Holton-Building bauten, war die Firma die galaxisweite Nr. 1 in diesen Bereichen. Das Gebäude sollte sowohl die allgemeine Möglichkeit zeigen, das man Gebäude mit mehr als 1000 m Höhe überhaupt bauen konnte, als auch, dass solche riesigen Bauten sinnvoll waren. Vor allem aber sollte das Gebäude die Fähigkeiten von Holton-Construction beweisen, solche Gebäude errichten zu können. Nathaniell Holton persönlich übernahm die architektonische Planung, um auch seine ganz persönlichen Ansichten über Architektur zu demonstrieren. Mr. Holton war ein Verfechter alter Style, insbesondere des Baustils von Hochhäusern im frühen 20.Jahrhunderts. Da das Holton-Building in diesem bereits zu seiner Bauzeit seit Generationen veralteten Stil gebaut worden war, wurde es in der Bevölkerung schnell als „Old Man Building“ oder einfach „Old Man“. Bis heute hat sind die obersten 50 der 440 Stockwerke exklusiv für Holton-Construction und deren Angestellte reserviert. Hier befindet sich die Firmenzentrale sowie die Wohnungen aller dort arbeitenden Angestellten, einschließlich der Vorstandsmitglieder und Aufsichtsratsmitgliedern. Die restlichen Stockwerke werden allgemein Vermietet und enthalten sowohl Büros als auch Wohnungen, sowie die für eine so große Einwohnerzahl notwendige Infrastruktur. Im Jahr 2375 leben 1.157.352 Bewohner im „Old Man“.

Das dritte von links ist der 4100 m Hohe Sa‘pakhi-Complex. Der Jaffa Sa‘pakhi war der Begründer der nach ihm selbst benannten interstellaren Bergbaufirma, der ersten die von einem Jaffa gegründet worden war. Kurz nach seinem Tod, im Jahr 2117, entschloss sich sein ältester Sohn und Nachfolger, Ankhpieoi, seinen Vater zu ehren ein neues Firmenhauptquartier zu bauen. Um eine möglichst große Ehrung zu erreichen, sollte das neue Gebäude noch das Holton-Building übertreffen, sowohl an Größe, vor allem aber in der Anzahl der Bewohner. Es sollte quasi eine Art Tempel zu Ehren seines Vaters werden, da jeder Bewohner für das Glück, in diesem Gebäude leben zu können, dem Sa‘pakhi im Jenseits danken würde. Allerdings stand die Firma zu dieser Zeit seit langem in der Kritik, Umweltschutzbestimmungen wie die Renaturierung alter Abbaugebiete zu missachten oder zu mindestens zu vernachlässigen. Ankhpieoi wollte mit diesem Gebäude, welches umfangreiche Grünanlagen trägt, den Ruf der Firma positiv beeinflussen. Das ganze sollte auch als Neuanfang gesehen werden, da Ankhpieoi die Firmenpolitik in Umweltfragen in eine gänzlich andere Richtung führt. Sa‘pakhi Mining gilt im Jahr 2375 als absolutes Vorbild und als einer der größten Förderer von Umweltschutzorganisationen. Der Sa‘pakhi-Complex ist aufgrund seiner Form bei der Bevölkerung von Iari‘Mhatep als „der Bohrkopf“ bekannt, da der Komplex tatsächlich eine starke Ähnlichkeit mit dem Bohrkopf eines modernen Energiebergbaubohrer besitzt. Im Jahr 2375 leben 3.416.600 Individuen in dem Komplex.

Das vierte Gebäude von links ist der 4100 m Hohe Eayila-Complex. Der Erbauer, Ra‘thoures, war der jüngere Bruder von Sa‘pakhi. Die beiden verband eine galaxisweit bekannte Konkurrenz, wenn nicht sogar Feindschaft. Als sein Bruder starb und sein Neffe Ankhpieoi zu Ehren seines Vaters das nach ihm benannte Gebäude bauen ließ, nutzte Ra‘thoures alle Möglichkeiten seiner Raetis Trading Company, um seinen Bruder ein letztes mal zu bezwingen. Die Raetis Trading Company, benannt nach ihrer Heimatwelt, war und ist eines der erfolgreichsten und mächtigsten Unternehmen im bekannten Universum, weit größer und erfolgreicher als Sa‘pakhi Mining es je war und dennoch stand Ra‘thoures stets im Schatten seines Bruders. Mit dem Bau des Eayila-Complex wollte er seinen Bruder ein für alle mal in den Schatten stellen, sogar im wahrsten Sinn des Wortes. Den ursprünglich sollte dieses Gebäude 5000 m hoch werden und seinen Schatten direkt auf den Sa‘pakhi-Complex werfen. Das es nicht dazu kam ist der Versöhnung von Onkel und Neffe zu verdanken. Ankhpieoi macht die Verfehlungen seines Vaters bekannt und entschuldigte sich öffentlich. Letztlich Unterstützte er Ra‘thoures bei seinem Bauvorhaben. Als Zeichen der neuen familiären Einheit wurde das neue Gebäude exakt an die Höhe des anderen angepasst. Eine kuriose Tatsache dabei ist, das Sa‘pakhi-Complex, der einem riesigen Bohrkopf ähnelt und der Eayila-Complexm, der von seiner Architektur her einem Bergbaubohrer ähnelt, dadurch auch in ihren Größenverhältnissen einem Bohrer und seinem Bohrkopf recht genau entsprechen. Daher spricht man von den beiden Gebäuden auch jeweils nur von „Bohrer“ und „Bohrkopf“. Der Eayila-Complex hat im Jahr 2375 insgesamt 8.114.000 Einwohner.

Das dritte Gebäude von rechts ist die 8750 hohe Lai-Cui-Pagode. Gebaut wurde sie in den 20er Jahren des 23.Jahrhundert im Auftrag der Life Tree Financial Holdings, einer der größten Banken und Versicherungen in der Galaxie. Benannt wurde das Gebäude nach dem ersten CEO der Life Tree Financial Holdings. Die Firma und ihre Tochtergesellschaften haben bis heute ihre Firmenzentralen in dem Gebäude, wobei die Firmenzentralen und die Wohnungen der Angestellten insgesamt 250 der 1750 Stockwerke beanspruchen. Diese sind allerdings über das gesamte Bauwerk verteilt. Die Lai-Cui-Pagode ist in Iari‘Mhatep auch als die „rote Pagode“ bekannt. Da die meisten Gebäude eher silbrig, metallisch glänzen oder grün durch die allgegenwärtigen Dachgärten und Parks sind, fällt die Pagode mit ihren roten Dächern sehr auf. Insgesamt leben im Jahr 2375 12.211.855 Individuen in der „roten Pagode“.

Das zweite Gebäude von rechts ist der 5000 m hohe Thalanus-Tower, auch bekannt als die „hängenden Gärten“. Thalanus Orbital Shipyard ist der größte Hersteller von Weltraumequipment in der Galaxie. Von Raumanzügen und Satelliten über Schiffsteile wie Antriebe, Schiffscomputer und Sensoren bis hin zu zivilen Raumschiffen wie Frachtern und Jachten. Das Angebot von TOS umfasst alle Bereich und alle Technologien die in irgend einer Form in den Bereich Weltraum gehören. Im Bereich Schiffsysteme und Raumschiffbau wird Thanalus Orbital Shipyard nur noch von der Tech Con Group vom Planeten Hebridan übertroffen. Beim "Zubehör" wie Raumanzüge und tragbare Sensoren hat TOS der TCG den ersten Platz abgenommen.
Der Thanalus-Tower wird dient als Zweigstelle der Firma auf Chulak, da man die Firmenzentrale auf Thanalus nicht aufgeben wollte. Daher nutzt die Firma nur die obersten 5 der 1000 Stockwerke für eigene Zwecke. Der Rest wurde vermietet, wobei sich eins der größten Einkaufzentren von Iari‘Mhatep in den untersten 50 Stockwerken befindet, sowie eine Stadion und eines der modernsten Kinos des Planeten. Im Jahr 2375 leben 18.800.000 Individuen im Thanalus-Tower.

Ganz rechts sieht man den City-Bogen. Dieses Gebäude wurde in den 90ern des 22.Jahrhunderts von der Regierung der IUSP in Auftrag gegeben. Seit der Gründung der Stadt Hauptstadt Iari‘Mhatep hatte es einen beständigen Strom an Individuen gegeben die sich hier ansiedeln wollte. Inzwischen war der Zuzug so stark geworden, das für die Stadtregierung immer schwerer wurde, das Wachstum der Stadt einigermaßen zu kontrollieren. So kam es in den neuen Randgebieten zu einer schleichenden Verelendung und einem Anwachsen der Kriminalität. Die städtische Infrastruktur konnte nicht schnell genug erweitert werden.In den Außenbezirken gab es kaum Polizei, nur wenige medizinische Einrichtungen, und selbst in den anderen Zuständigkeitsbereichen erfüllte die Stadt ihre Aufgaben nicht mehr hinreichend. Die Situation wurde so schlimm, das die Stadtregierung die Bundesregierung um Hilfe ersuchen musste. Diese startete darauf ein massiven Bauprogramm. Eine der vielen Maßnahmen war der Bau diese Spacescraper. Er sollte nicht nur zusätzlichen Wohnraum schaffen, ohne die Umwelt zu stark zu beanspruchen. Der City-Bogen sollte auch als ein weiterer Mittelpunkt von Iari‘Mhatep fungieren, wo sich die Einwohner der Stadt treffen konnten. Zusätzlich sollte das Bauwerk die verschiedenen Teile der riesigen Stadt vereinen. Den die beiden Punkte an denen der Bogen den Boden berührt befanden sich zu dieser Zeit an den beiden am weitesten Entfernten Bezirken der Stadt. Mit Hilfe der integrieren Fortbewegungsmittel, sollte es den Einwohner erleichtert werden, mit den Einwohnern der anderen Bezirke und vor allem der anderen Seite der Stadt in Kontakt zu kommen. Quasi eine Brücke zwischen den sich langsam auseinander lebenden Gemeinden der einzelnen Bezirke schlagen. Der City-Bogen enthält daher selbst für einen Spacescraper überdurchschnittlich viele Erholungsstätten, wie Restaurants, Kinos, Konzerthallen, Clubs und Gärten. Er dient daher zum Teil als Naherholungsgebiet. Im Jahr 2375 leben 14.049.000 Individuen in dem Gebäude, das auch als „the Rainbow“ bekannt ist.
