I can't stand using chalk pastels, but I love how they look; thank goodness for the wonders of digital technology! ^w^Just a doodle while my hand seems to be awak, even if my brain isn't. >.<

I understand the hating of using pastels. I was in art class many years ago and we had to use them a few times. They looked great, but my hands were many different colors after. DX
Anywho, I love the color usage here!
You only used two maybe three basic colors correct? With just those three colors you managed to express every color needed without showing it. Hence the hair. Is Nami's hair orangeish-black or is that just a trick of the eye? Even the fish. Soem parts of it look redish, like a chopped up fish should, without using the real colors, only the basics you used.
Also... The style. It reminds me of one of the old timey black and white pictures. I like it. It really works for this scene. Great job~ ^^

Nah, I just wanted to get in some French apples, and I wanted her to have that cute bent over pose, so she would have been too short to put her chin on his shoulder without it X3

Very cute... I happen to love her dress tons, and even though it's made in chalk (I've done a colored chalk drawing only once and it's in my gallery) you can still get a feel of the scenerio... ^_^ I like it... though I'm not a big fan of the pairing... I still like the drawing. Great job *thumbs up*
