Commissioned illustration for Ulrika is a vampire from a book series called Gotrek and Felix based in the Warhammer universe ^,..,^ This was a pretty interesting and unusual piece to paint, and first of all because of the point of view through the eyes of a man. And look how many clothes folds are here! I feel I took a level up in painting them

I really dig it -- I had a mini-crush on Ulrika for her part in the books and I did a few sketches of her, pre and post vampirism. The only thing that gets me is that (and yeah, you draw hot girls, I get that part) she's too hot -- or at least, too mortal. The Warhammer vamps are a lot nastier than Twilight, or even Anne Rice vamps. They're dead and evil lol.
I don't remember where the Ulrika storyline went after her conversion, but I feel she should at least look a little more dead. Then again, who knows -- I read Vampire Wars a long time ago, and loved it, and got a totally different impression of the Von Carsteins' appearance than I was given from Warhammer Total War, so you never know.

Took me about half an hour to remember her from the Gotrek and Felix novels. that to be frank is not how I would have pictured her previously but still... damn hot
