If the boxes are heavy they can actually damage each other when they are stacked like that. I prefer to place my boxes side by side.

That's ridiculous. None of these boxes are that heavy. Besides, I'm sure he only stacked them like this for this photo.

If the boxes contain everything inside them, the game case, fat manual and everything extra, they will be pretty heavy. Especially the big boxed version of Rayman 2 for PC is pretty heavy and will squish lighter, already in bad condition boxes under it.

Well, most of these boxes are not heavy at all. Only heavy ones are Funpack and Rayman 3 limited edition and both are on bottom
Everything else is very lite so even the heavy ones on bottom are not damaged.
