I did 3 tours when I was with the U.S. Army ( 504th parachute/82 Airborne) and worked some of the borders in Berlin.. looking back it is funny some of the stupidity that went on but even so it was about as serious as it gets.

well I only have about 6 years of service in the Army. all but the last 3 months with the 82 Airborne. ( 504th ) did 3 tours of Germany. 2 in Korea, desert Shield ( no Storm. the pulled us out just before kickoff) played tag down in El Salvador, Nicaragua. was in on the invasion of Panama and Haiti. got to se 9 for FREE) Pink Floyd reunite at the Berlin Wall while "On Duty". did a few TDY's in Manila, Taiwan, Israel, Italy and couple other places.. all in all not that exciting of a career. I left as a E-6 but spent most of it as a E-4 or 5. I have over 500+ jumps in y book and my most important piece of colored ribbon that would impress the girls was the bronze star ( Panama ) and C.I.B. Burple heart ( 3 times ) and my MOST important piece of jewelry being my Wings and snow-cone... I did run thru Pathfinder school and got that too ( my last two years twas my MOS ) but most folks don't know anything about what that is or means ( thank goodness)
