Serieusly 1.8 suckz (no offensive)
its cool with the new items villages, ravines and the new mob.
but it has alot of disadvantages (or how u call it)
1. it doesnt have those cool seeds from back then in 1.7 and all those back
2. almost no flat lands where u can build cool buildings
3. THERE IS NO FUCKIN SNOOOOOOOOOOOWWW!!!!
damnit! i hope all those things will come back in 1.9 (the snow will YAY~!)

Just type 'Flat world' as the seed and 'tundra' or 'snow' If you want a snowy area.

At first I was all like "awesome, can't wait to try out the seeds!!" but then I read the description

In this seed, before the 1.8 update, you spawned on a little lonely sand block on the middle of the sea.

in foldifoldon i went cave exploring inside the big overhangs by the spawn and i found a large abandoned mine shaft with a dungeon in it. also it leads into a very large underground canyon.

the seed 9001 is really cool! there is clay really close to the spwan and a cavern with tons or coal and some iron

makes big-ish water areas accompanied with marshy land (close proksimity reed on one shore)
funny about his was the fact that ingo is allso a series of books about mer-people (and name of that one guy in ocarina of time)

a little fix to that, I tried it again and there was a hude body of water but I coudnt find the island I lived on earlier, I think the seed is too short.. or I just turned the wrong way, beats me

I just found myself one, typing in random stuff and made asdfkako. Quite beautiful, has a lot of snow and ice, and where you spawn has a little ice pond, and I believe to the north has a cool cliff where I'm building my house into. I'll post up pics if I can. : D
