I just came back from visiting Jon's family and I found Molly in the back by the pool. I felt so bad about what happened with the alarm earlier. We should have practiced it more and I should have given her better warning about what would happen if the code was not put in right. Thankfully Kristin was here and she was able to help Molly. I go up to her and she seems genuinely upset about something.

Riley: Hi Molly, I am sorry about the alarm I should have warned you about how sensitive it is.

Molly: That's okay Riley.

Riley: You okay Molly you seem distracted.

Molly: I read your Mom's journal like you told me to. I think that was why I was so distracted.

Riley: What did you think?

Molly: It certainly answered a lot of questions that I had. It explains how growing up Mom would be nice to me one minute and nasty to me the next and why Dad always defended her. No wonder your Mom tried to get custody of me. She explains how worried she was about me and how she was never really convinced that Mom and Dad could keep Mary under control. I still hate her but now knowing everything that our mothers went through I guess I feel bad.

Riley: I know what you mean. Once Mary is behind bars I swear I will get her the help she needs.

Molly: Don't you want her dead? She ruined your life. She killed your Mom.....She killed your Foster Mother.

Riley: She did but that journal gave me a lot of insight into Mom and I don't think she would want her dead.

Me and Molly than discuss Mary and Joan in great detail. After we have compared notes we sit down and watch the sunset together. I can tell that Molly is struggling. All I can do is be here for her. I look over and I see great sadness in her eyes. I put my arms around her and Molly cries. I let her know that we will all be with her from now on.
