Sarah: I'm trying to understand everything that you have been through from your mom dying to your years in foster care to when you were abducted by The Doctor. He tortured you everyday didn't he?

Riley: Yes, sometimes it was experiments he did to me. Other times he just delighted in inflicting pain on me. That was what I endured everyday until your Mom rescued me.
