Description
Quick sketch and spray color of an alternate dimension Mutant April O'Neil from one of the corrupted timelines in IDW's "Bebop and Rocksteady Destroy Everything" mini-series. All things considered, things seem to have worked out alright for April after getting splashed with mutagen ooze during a ruckus in the Stockgen lab. She and the Fugitoid fell into a time portal and emerged in the 1960s with amazing new powers and a sensational new superheroine look. Adopting the name of "Nightbug," she became a capable crimefighter in the past. Will she and the Silver Fugitoid be seen again or will their adventures remain the stuff of imagination?Wish I knew what the end of the tail/stinger looked like. I just took a guess there...
EDIT: The TPB reveals a full body sketch with tail. I didn't quite get it right, so maybe I'll revisit this concept more properly in the future.

Not sure I'm in position to give pointers. I can say I always enjoy seeing more obscure characters. I'd like to get around to drawing all the Mighty Mutanimals, but it won't be anytime soon.

Let me recommend the gang of 4 that ultimately killed the team in the Archie comics: Waster, Fist, Dead-Eye, and Lynch. Talk about obscurity!

If they only knew how much it bothered me as a child when they killed off the Mutanimals! That was BRUTAL. I think there could have been a better way to end things. I'll always hold a grudge against those cybernetic murderers. lol (I remember Jim Lawson drawing some of those books. How awesome was that?)
