The being herself is not recorded in history. However, the influences in the Irish pantheon were the Morrighan and Cernunnos. This would be the love-child of those two. I hope that makes sense! The Blackthorn is not a goddess of death, but of punishment AND death. She is also loosely based off of a Púca, as the "king (yes king) of the pucas".
