Description I changed some details in comparison with old version.
Idea of the map was that lighter areas possibly lie in lowlands since the geology of Io is based on eruptions. Light spots flow down from volcanoes.

Well, nice texture but it's like Io texture map black and white, and then inverted.

This was what I began with. But this will not be correct, because this way you transform volcanoes to low-ground. So theΒ task was to invert the fake in some places and not to invert it in others. Also there was much of a job which I can't describe in a couple of words.
