Description This is Nabusa, the character of !

He's a hybrid of a Yautja and an Ooman...-and...if you ask me, he is a looker!!!

This is the way a hybrid should look like, I love the way of the idea behind him (and his history, his background) and that's why I asked her for permission to draw him!

Thank you, girl! Here he is, your/our baby!!!

For any questions about this great character, please ask !

Wow! Talk about unique! What I like the most is your detail and coloring, it just superb. And you are right, this is what a human/Pred hyrbrid should look like. hehe Pucker up girls!!!!!

Thank you very, very much for this nice comment!!! I am glad you like this picture so much!

I think the same way my friend ~Slangblade does, a Ooman/Yautja hybrid should look little bit demonic.

Nabusa is her character and I asked her for permission to draw him because I like his design that much!!!

Thanks again!!!

Definitely interesting! I've never seen an actual hybrid. I've only seen characters that are either Yautja or ooman. They only take the traits of one parent. That is unoriginal. But this is nice and original. Good Job!

Thanks a lot, man! Glad you like him!!!

Yeah, that's why I asked for permission to draw him! Because he really looks like a badass HYBRID! Not like all the Ooman supermodels with spots and dreadlocks. Sometimes they are nice to look at but their existence isn't logical. The genes of the Yautja would dominate the Ooman genes, they would overrun them.

I had a very interesting discussion with ~Slangblade about some details of hybrids and I like her point of view! Nabusa is her character!

HAHA! Really!?!? Now you really wanna have a hybrid like Nabusa!?!?

I think it would work. Why not?! Maybe it wouldn't be that easy but...yeah, it would work!? See, Nabusa is there, too!? (But I found out that it was very, very hard for his mother and that she nearly died...)

Sure I would!!! Who wouldn't? Wouldn't you?? I feel all excited about it, the very idea makes me happy.

Nah, I believe I can only dream about having a hybrid kid with P'thakin one day. Because, you see, 'it' doesn't fit. P'thakin would break me in two halfs; he cannot get there, is too big, if you understand what I mean. Perhaps we could try by in vitro fertilization. I hope I'm using the right word, lol...

I'd never wanna go through a hell such as Nabusa's mom had to! There was no love whatsoever involved; it's cruel...

Honestly, I am not sure if I would like to have a hybrid!?! Well, of course I would like to have a baby with my lovely K'ekv'var later but I am not sure what the baby would becomes like!? The baby will be the mix of two totally different races. No Ooman. No Yautja. But…anyway both?! The baby will be beaten and won't be welcomed by the Ooman and the Yautja!? (You can ask ~Slangblade for more informations about Nabusa's past! She gave me some background informations about him. It was so f*cking hard for him, poor guy!!!)The stinky Oomans hate ALL which is different and strange and the Yautja want to keep their bloodlines pure, only the stronges Yautja with the best genes are allowed to breed. I don't want that my baby would be haten by all the others! But yeah, the idea is very nice! Because this baby would show the love of you and your Yautja, your one and only beloved P'thakin, wouldn't it!?

Hmmmm…-I think 'it' could fit!? Because hey, a WHOLE baby is able to come out there!?!? Still creepy!!! But he might be very, very careful with you!?!

Or…yes, a vitro fertilization (I think it's the right word, my dictionary told me, too!)!? Haha!

Yes, Nabusa's mom went/goes through the hell, Kel'Angi is such a bastard. But…a hot one!
I talked with ~Slangblade about the relationship of Kema and Kel'Angi and I think it's kind of weird, weird love-hate-thing between them!?

Slangblade In reply to Amaterasu--Omikami [2008-07-17 02:56:54 +0000 UTC]

In vitro is how he is brought about. Her eggs were taken when she was fifteen. They were experimented on until the eggs from her and his semen didn't burn on contact. Once he found a way to fertilize her eggs and they were viable they were put back in her.

So she carried his genetic code for ten years and didn't know it. But when he comes back for his payment she is ready. ( 10 days of your period)

There is no love involved in his birth. She gets the hell beaten out of her, pure domination .

Gah, you've been digging into the materia thouroughly. Very realistic thinking! ...I wonder what this 'debt' may be, that this poor girl had to pay.
Yuck, the Yautja in your story are certainly horrible. (nothing like my and ~Olfe 's P'thakin and K'ekv'var, hahaha! ) Your story is not a silly Predaphile phantasy; it is what it would probably be like if Yautja were real...
I'm getting more and more curious to read.

No, he isn't a romantic type. I didn't want a mushy story like that and besides I don't picture them being romantic and caring.

Her debt to him is payment for sparing her life. To remind her of that he marks her.

No, I didn't want a far out story with female humans becoming superhuman alien killers living amongst the Predators or some of that other stuff you find on Predaphiles. I wanted a dark feel and that is what I tried to do.

Amaterasu--Omikami In reply to Slangblade [2008-07-25 06:18:32 +0000 UTC]

No...They wouldn't, I'm sure! Like I said, your story is much more realistic.

Payment for sparing her life???? Well, from what I read, she could better have died. What kind of life does she have now....

Your story must be very interesting experience to read. Very different from all the others I've heard of till now. Most of them are indeed just sweet fantasies of the brave human-girl becoming one of the Preds and being admired or even loved by them. Rather unrealistic.

Ah, you're a Predaphiles member too? Not surprisingly...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

Slangblade In reply to Amaterasu--Omikami [2008-07-25 20:54:01 +0000 UTC]

No, I am not a member of Predaphiles. I joined about two years ago but I haven't been back since.

Well she lives in a remote part of the Amazon in a huge tree house that is cloaked from human view. Lets just say she is a trapped mouse with robotic servants. Add to that she is constantly watched by him and if she wants to go outside the servants have to ask his permission.

She doesn't become a warrior. She is his play thing.

Ah. Ok. But, you have been a member. I'm a member since 1,5 months now, but I don't think it is really an exciting board, lol. Still, I enjoy being a member.

The Amazon? All of this horror happens on our own planet, maybe even close to where she came from, but no one knows she's there? And no one ever will, or can...That is a horrible thing to imagine.

No, I figured that much; it was already clear that this girl isn't exactly becoming a warrior...

Well, you have to think about it like this. She sees her village destroyed, people being hacked to death and add to that she experiences first hand what this clan of Predators are fully capable of. Like the elder releases his pet on some rebels and he feast on their bodies.

She experiences hell for four days.

The Amazon is the perfect place to hide your pet. She deals with the jungle it brings her peace.

What ever way, it is astonishing! And what to say about the coloring! Great! See you can do it? What did you use for the coloring-job? It looks like markers.
Man, I think I'm feeling excited! I really love this!

My dear Preddy-friend!!! I am so glad you like him!!!
Isn't he a looker!? He looks like a badass hot bastard, doesn't he?! I dig him! .oO(Sorry, K'ekv'var! I love you!!! You know!!! )

He's the baby of ~Slangblade (but after drawing him she says since that time that he is 'our' baby, aww, I am so proud!!!), she's his inventor and she has a very detailed idea about the way he looks like. She gave me all the directions and descriptions!!! It worked very well, I designed the first sketch of him and she liked him at once. I just had to edit some details! You know, I am very self-critical but this time I am very proud of the way Nabusa turned out. Because it was fun to work with her and she really likes the way I drew him. It's a big honor for me that I was allowed to draw him!!! He's something special for her!

For the coloring I used colored crayons. Like a kid!!!
I don't like coloring pictures because I can't. I don't have a good feeling for colors and I only have these colored crayons, everytime I am afraid to ruin the picture.

Yes, I do! ...Though still nobody can beat the beauty of my P'thakin!

You have been doing some wonderful cooperation. ~Slangblade told me she is very glad with this outcome. And you may be proud! He looks really, really good. Pose and everything. And your coloring is not a kiddie-job; that too looks good to me. Just because you used children's arttools doesn't mean the coloring looks childish as well.
(When I used to draw in pencil, I didn't like coloring too, though. For the most part in my realistic art. Takes too much time and makes me all nervous! Always afraid to ruin my work, like you said too...The only coloring I did of which I AM proud still, is the watercoloring in my DragonBallZ manga-art. )

No, nothing and nobody can beat the beauty of your lovely P'thakin. And my wonderful K'ekv'var!!!

Yes, she told me too, and I am very, very happy! I am happy that our cooperation is that good and I am happy that she really likes the way Nabusa turned out!
She said that nobody tried to draw him before because it's a big challange and she has very straight ideas of the way he looks like. Of course, it's her original character, it's her 'baby'!!!
(Now she say 'our' baby and it makes me proud!!! I like Nabusa so much! )

I am afraid to ruin my artworks with coloring, too! Well, you spoke true! Using children's arttools doesn't mean that the coloring looks childish as well. But I don't have a feeling for colors. And for coloring. Or shading. Most of the time there is no deepness in my pictures and some shadows are wrong. I have to practise more but I don't wanna mess up my pictures. I think about to print out a scanned version of my lineart, then I could do some coloring experiments. But the paper must be in a good quality.

Honestly, I don't think that your artwork need any coloring! Not your realistic artwork!!! Maybe they would lose they realitic look then? Every piece of your art look like a photo, a black/white photo, it has a great deepness and substance, the characters look so alive!
You can do magic with your ballpoint pen, your feeling for shadings is unbelivable!
(That's why I never could become a ballpoint pen-artist…
But I like your coloring in your chibi drawings!!! THIS looks great, so adorable! And I really like the way you color it!!!

Watercoloring in your DragonBalZ manga-art??! Let me see!!! I have to check it out!

Well, all I know is that Yautja is the predator race (at least I think that's right). But I've only seen the movies. I had one old comic a long time ago, but I don't know much about the storyline or anything else.

So...

Is there a source where I can find more information about all of it? A website or something?

Slangblade In reply to nevershop [2008-07-01 22:13:07 +0000 UTC]

I recommend that you visit places like Predator the Hunted, Hunters Lair, and Predator Stuff. If you under stand Spanish, I highly recommend ProjectoYautja.

Also you can do a wikipedia search on them.

But I recommend going to Predator Stuff and hit the favorite resources and links where you will find all you want. You can also go to DarkHorse.com. Or you can visit Stan Winston studios.

I warn you some of the sites have a lot of younger people on them
