I watched "Splice" several times, can't explain why I love this movie so much
Dren is amazing, I feel so bad the story ended like that... And the actors are great

The strange thing is that ideas like her have been done before "in terms of her appearance", just not quite in exactly the same way... But that doesn't make her any less amazing (I'm not sure something like this has been done as _beautifully_ before)... The fact she might not be completely original doesn't stop me from loving her.
Yeah, the end was bad. There were a couple of bad things in this movie (cat scene for example), but what just makes this movie so great is that the parts that were not bad more than doubly make up for those scenes
