Description
1. After listening to 'Tell me what the rain knows' by Maaya Sakamoto I decided to draw a mystical kind of lake with a girl in it. It was supposed to be a moody, dark and rainy pic.2. While sketching that scene (after few weeks after thinking about it) I was listening to Guano Apes' stuff and the whole lineart turned quite cheerful and more dynamic - and I added Yaleea, who was *surprise, surprise!* smiling.
3. After about a week I started colouring it... and listening to pop music (Shakira and O-Zone, I believe
) - and it turned out like this
And I'm sooo damn excited about the final result :] I guess it's something new in my style - I kinda liked it and I'm going to practice that way of colouring a bit more. I hope you'll enjoy thic pice as much as I do

whereas my 'regular' keyboard is shaped the way it allows my hands t relax a bit, the laptop I used had a flat keyboard. Since I'm used to typing using the first one (and don't look at the screen while typing, usually ;_

Ah. I kinda know what you mean except for the fact that I always use my mom's laptop so to me my hands are comfortable almost all the time. I've trained myself to look at the screen especialy ever since I got a keyboarding class in 7th grade.

Hehe, I can understand how it was supposed to be moody, but I think it's absolutely gorgeous just the way it is. I think it's wonderful. I like the girl, especially her outfit. You coloured her eyes well, too. If you want to be super-super correct, then the head is a little big, but that's your own style and I still think it's prettiful ^_^
I'm very, very fond of your background, especially your reflection. I love it when the background actually interacts with the character, and you did just that. The plants and sky are just breathtaking. I'm sorry for rambling so much, but this is definately worthy of a favvie. Thanks for sharing~~
