To think there was actually a time when I did not understand how to use textures...I've made this (not so small in the end) demonstration to show what using different textures can bring to the very same image.

Thank you so much. I'm not so good at doing tutorials. This was as much a lesson and an awakening to myself. I guess what I wanted to point out was that a little can change a lot, and make artists aware that there are many ways to regard their works.Β
