H.P. Lovecraft first unleashed upon the reader the notion of preternatural horrors dwelling within an extremely ancient frozen city in Antarctica, in the tale entitled, "At The Mountains Of Madness".

In it, we are left questioning whether or not any of the Elder Things who had once built and occupied the city over countless epochs had survived the slaughter inflicted upon them by their former servant race known as Shoggoths.

The answer to that question, my dear friends, is indeed... a resounding- YES!

Having been forced far below the ruin of their former surface abode by uncontrollable Shoggoth attacks, the masters of genetic engineering deliberately began a process of evolutionary development into a forms that would be more than adequate to defend themselves against their aforementioned adversaries.
