From one of my favorite (and woefully underrated) science-fiction television series.  Thanks for invoking the memories.

This was an old TV show from the 70's, wasn't it?  Saturday morning?

Thought so.  I was more into Super-Friends and Star Trek (the cartoon), Scooby-Doo, Shazam, and Isis.  I also remember Speedy Buggy, Jabber-Jaw, Josey and the Pussycats in Space, Space-Nuts, Gilligan's Planet ....  (see where my mind went and why?

LOL!

I just rewatched the Jihad episode of Star Trek: Animated Series last night.

How about the Fantastic Voyage cartoon.

It had a decent scifi feel to it too.

Poor Man's Tardis is actually a good way to describe it. I assume you meant because they were consistently established as being bigger on the inside than on the outside. But if you'll recall, in one episode one of them proved to be capable of taking the main characters to other worlds; including Earth. Too bad it only worked when the moons were aligned just right, if i recall correctly.
