Hee, "black smooth" isn't so helpful as an "8B, 6B, 4B" grade to understand, but it looks gorgeous. (I much prefer the weight of line you can get and textures from a pencil to pen, personally - though this may just be because I always end up leaning on ink before it's dry and smudging it everywhere and despairing!)

If pencils had adverts that made me laugh like that I definitely would!

I'll keep an eye out for them. : ) Rowney owns my painter's soul, while Faber Castell is currently looking after the pencils.
