About me, I've made a hundreds of bw films and only couple of color positive or negative. Every digital photo, as a first I desaturate to bw, adjust contrast, gamma and brightness. If it is good in bw, will be good in color too. Than I return color saturation if I want color. Mostly I'm satisfied with bw so I don't have to saturate color again.
