Description

This piece was made primarily for the "Elephants of Kaimere" mini-series by Keenan Taylor for it's Spec Evo setting of "Tales of Kaimere".

"At the middle of the Highland of Arvel's steppes, by, a herd of Highland Mammoth go about their business, grazing peacefully without caring too much about their surrounding, knowing they are safe together, with their size, their force and number.

One of them momentarily stop to graze and just take a break, watching the great grassy plains that seem to never end, and go way before the horizon.

He comtemplates his home, is own domain, to which he is the undisputable lord !

Near the herd, at the distance, three wild horses also graze, two Woolly kangaroos watch the proboscidean. And in the sky, a undefined hawk look at the ground, hoping for a potential prey disturbed by the wooly elephants, while the dark shadow of a lone Titan Crow traveling for a new territory can be seen at the highest altitudes".

This piece was inspired by the talented and famous Charle R. Knight paleoartist numerous Woolly Mammoth paintings, in which this piece is also mean to be a Tribute to it's work.

Was also inspired by @ j_stocky Moqrin/Gaqrin hybrid fanart based on paleoartist Dan Varner famous Cretoxyrhina paleoart (on it's Twitter account here : twitter.com/j_stocky/status/15… ), he made for the "Killer Whales of Kaimere" episode.

The Highland Mammoth, Titan Crow and Woolly kangaroo used here belong and are owned by Keenan Taylor.
