Description
Another Spooktober artwork, this time depicting a ghost type pokemon. This drawing combines information given from multiple Pokedex entries of Marowak and its Alolan form throughout the Pokemon games. Multiple Pokedex entries from Generation 2 and 4 state that there is a rumor that a Marowak graveyard exists somewhere, which is obviously a reference to the elephant graveyards of real world legend. And the pokedex entries of Alolan Marowak from Let's Go Pikachu and Pokemon Sword state that they mourn their dead with some kind of dance ritual. This group of Alolan Marowak are now engaging in a funeral for a recently deceased Marowak, forming a circle around its skull and performing a grieving dance after taking the skull to the Marowak graveyard. Because apparently despite being a ghost type, Alolan Marowak can still die.

And yeah I actually used a screenshot from the third episode of Primal as a bit of reference. The whole Marowak funeral thing reminds me of the mammoth funeral at the end of that episode.
