Description I'm working on a flash project, in wich I'm going to make a reconstruction of what the Cambrian seas looked like all those millions of years ago. What you will see is the sea floor with lots of creatures that lived there.
And here is a preview of one of the biggest of those creatures, The Laggania cambria, it is the filter-feeding cousin of the Anomalocaris, the top predator of that Era.

So this Laggania and loads more nifty critters will be added in the final impression of the Cambrian seas.

Laggania Cambria . . .
Correct me, if it depicts another anomalocarid.

That is correct. It's already in the description though.

Forgive me, if the answer is obvious.
I recall seeing your name on the Hive Workshop, showing Dinosaur and Paleozoic models for WarCraft III. Are you, by any chance, thinking about making an anomalocarid model like Laggania, or are you through with the Hive?

I did make an Anomalocarid model at one point. But I never finished it. And I stopped modding for WarCraft III a long time ago.

WoW, cool.
What program(s) did you use to make the Anomalocarid, exactly? Just curious.

For WarCraft? I used Vertex Modifier.

Hmmm . . . I might try to create some mods, if things aren't too difficult.

Today I read a paper talking about Anomalocaris' swimming biomechanics, and to sum it up they said the movement was analog with rays and stingrays swimming, with all the flaps acting as one.
An I find this when I come home ^^

Since they are extinct, I guess we'll never know for sure

Tell me my dear old Eurypterus Remipes will be involved? :>

Alas, sea scorpions are from a different period, so no Eurypterus.
There will be loads of trilobites though. And if I like the result of this project maybe I'll make the same sort of thing of different periods aswel.
