Description
These two are original characters, Princes Sadiq ibn Raz [fore] and Tahir ibn Raz [back]. They're princes of the desert kingdom of Maradesh, and the long braids they both sport on the left side of their heads are a sign of royalty. Sadiq is the oldest, almost 21 [when he'll ascend to the throne], and Tahir is on the cusp of his 18th birthday. Though Tahir is the little brother, he's taller than Sadiq by a good number of inches. He's also deadly protective of his big brother and serves as his personal bodyguard. This is partly because Sadiq was somewhat delicate when they were younger, and partly because Tahir simply loves his brother so much.

The collar Tahir wears was a gift from Sadiq. It allows him to become a thing of shadow, making him a more effective assassin. The scarab Sadiq wears was a gift from Tahir and it protects Sadiq from harmful magic. They both wear kohl to protect their eyes from the harsh desert sun.

I could honestly go on for ages about these two, but I figure I'll spare you the epic tale of their adventures with their cousin Lyra.

EDIT: Had to add a very important detail that I'm so ashamed I forgot. That'll teach me to color at ass o'clock in the morning. Anyway, Sadiq has a tattoo of a large black snake on his person. He got it in honor of the god Apophis who is the official deity of Maradesh. Tahir has a similar one, but his is red and you can't see it, what with him being clothed and all.
