I wanted to try working more with pen. It was really fun to try shading with pen in this picture. I was originally going to add some color to some of the shapes in this but i like the look of it just being black and white. i may post another version of it with color if I decide to do so.My little sister wrote a poem to go with this <3
Your mind can hold many wonders.
It can journey off to see the world,
To explore un-explorable lands.
Your mind can erupt with many things,
It can gibe birth to music,
Music that drifts away into space.
Your mind doesn't have any rules,
It can break free from the limits,
To soar far from ordinary.
Your mind is like a pocket of sunlight,
Watering ideas,
Until they come and burst out.
Your mind is a universe,
Ready to explode,
And help the world see.

Oh sorry! I forgot that it was the art that inspired the poem, not the other way around. wow, I feel stupid now. It's my own art too... I should have remembered that...

My sister wrote the poem. We're doing this thing where each of us creates some thing. she often writes something and I draw and then we trade the peaces we created. she writes some thing based on what I drew and i draw something based on what she wrote. It's a really fun creative exercise!
