Description

Eira waited until everyone else had left the tree to approach it. She held a little cup of water in her hands and approached the tree quietly. She sat down next to it, looking at it. One day it would grow to be a large oak tree that she could climb up into. The warm glow of the sunset illuminated the small tree. Eira raised the cup and poured the water into the soil next to the tree. Plants were so much easier to be near than Nyulops or Drakens. They didn't persist in being your friend, nor did they get upset when she said something... "Grow strong, little tree", she said quietly.
She stood up and started down the path.

I didn't have an idea for the prompt until after I got Eira approved so I kind of had to rush. Then I decided to do a more detailed painted background ha. 90% of the time spent on this picture was spent on that background.
I'm happy with the outcome though. I tried some different things with how I paint and I like how it looks. Painting is still enjoyable as well.

I'm counting Eira as a bust since you can't see most of her body.
