I don't honestly know.
I don't even know which one of the flashes I used. 200Ws/500Ws/1000Ws... I have no idea.
It all depends on how much power your flash has and what aperture you choose.

The lighting in this is just amazing. The model looks very nice as well. I like the position of her hands a lot.

There are so many great shapes/lines, I just don't know where to start. If I had to pick out a few things it would be the breast line on the right side model is a tad overlit, and needs some burning. Also, on that same model, there should be a little space (light) between the back, and right arm, giving definition and equality.

that's what happens when you work with only one light source, albeit a huge one...
thanks for the comment, you're right with the arm thing, we had shots with some space between her back and the arm but in the end i decided to take this one 'cause to me it seemed just that tad too much.

The simple pose really highlights the figure without overly sexualizing it. Of course, sexuality is an inescapable ingredient of nude photography, but the secret of true artistic nudes is the creation of mystery without awakening lasciviousness. I think you have succeeded in this here, and that success is all the more impressive considering how you have set the shot up, with a full frontal shot and the hands framing the loins.

take a beautiful woman's body and put it in front of a huge flash with a soft box (octobox, 170cm/67 inch), put some bouncer (california sunbounce mini) in front of her (under the lens) and fire away. in fact it's really easy.

they're a great thing to have β but you better make sure you get yourself some very sturdy light stand. i found one of those old hensel sliding type things on ebay, very robust and with wheels. hooray for ebay!
