Description Something I did a while ago for shits and giggles + a an experiment on shading using only gradients

Little backstory (set in Marvel canon):
As a young lad, Gabriel J. McKenzie grew up idolizing Bucky Barnes and S.H.I.E.L.D. Always trying to be a hero, he often got himself in fights protecting random people, often getting beat up in them.
When he was 17, Gabriel tried to protect someone getting beat up by five guys. Horribly losing the fight, he almost passed out, when a surge of energy came through him everytime they hit him. His X-gene awakened that moment. Getting more power per hit, his attackers grew weaker. Not knowing the power granted to him, he almost killed his attackers when he punched them into the walls.
S.H.I.E.L.D. arrested him, but witnesses cleared his name. He got send to Xavier's school for Gifted Youngsters to learn and control his powers. At Xavier's he became know for his cheerful, often slightly weird behavior and his refusal to wear tight pants or spandex (he wears cargo's or wide pants over his spandex). He quickly became known as a prodigy in hand-to-hand combat and his ever rising strength.

Within a year he learned the specifics of his power. He could absorb all sorts of energy, whether it be radiation, kinetic or plasma-based and redirect it to his muscles, bones or organs, which gives him superhuman strength, durability and/or healing. This also means he could center it around his eyes or brains to enhance his vision or learning capabilities. Later on he learned to redirect the energy to other people, granting them extra power (though it costs a lot more energy to do that) OR directly absorb the energy out of their limbs. The only way to stop him is by psychic means or by making him spend the energy faster than he could absorb, since his base power is no more than a regular human doing above average exercising.
The amount of energy he could absorb is unknown, but given the chance, his strength level could surpass the Hulk's.

After a few years he left Xavier's to work for S.H.I.E.L.D. and became known as Conduit and often helped the Avengers or the X-men on missions.
