The Crackler (クラックラー Kurakkurā? ) is an electromagnetic kaiju created by TriStar Pictures that first appeared in the 1998 Godzilla: The Series episode, What Dreams May Come .

An everyday guy called Sydney Walker was undergoing Theta wave therapy to cure his insomnia. The problem was that the experimental therapy sent him into a very deep slumber and, having suppressed it for 45 years, his rage became a physical, purely electromagnetic and non-living entity.
