Finding fractals that remind us of real world shapes can be very tedious. I found this using Mandelbulber as with most of my work.
Supercircuit is a true fractal and a variant of Mandelbrot, though not a hybrid if memory serves me right. Just a matter of how it's folded.

In the future circuits will be made of dna. We've found how to store more information in dna than any other method for size. All you need is a medium in which to let the strands be written and read.
Gold is a perfect medium for holographic and electric function in one; so maybe someday circuits will look something like this : )
