Description In 1983 D87 HMS Newcastle is moored on the River Tyne at Newcastle Quayside in front of the metal sheds and the old Co-oprative Whoelsale Society Ltd warehouse.

I often wonder if i should post them on DA or look for a local site as the subject has limited appeal to most DA members.

Well I can’t advise you but ,  there are people who are living away from Newcastle and the north east that appreciate these photos ,    I don’t know of any local sites where photos like this are shared ?

05/03/1983 and the Captain was Anthony Hutton OBE
