Description
In Galar, to be more specific, the Wild Area, Marnie, once a rival to Gloria (whose the new champion of Galar), now turned Gym Leader of Spikemuth, was waiting for Gloria to show up. Apparently, the reason why, is because Gloria has something to show her, and it has to be shown off in the Wild Area. Marnie was confused by this, wondering what it could be for them to travel to the Wild Area, but she didn’t question it. So, they decided to meet up at the Dusty Bowl. However, that was a few hours ago, and Gloria still hasn’t shown up.

Marnie, wearing her usual clothes, has been standing under the stone bridge with her Pokémon, Morpeko. “Ugh! Where is she?”, she said, “We been here for hours and she hasn’t show up yet!”. “Urara!”, said the Two-Sided Pokémon, while looking into the Dusty Bowl. “Hmm, what are you lookin’ at, Morpeko?”, she asked. As she looked in the same direction as her Pokémon, she saw that it was Gloria. “Hullo! Sorry I’m late, had to take care of something!”, she said, with a smile. “That’s ok. Now, what do you have to show me that requires us to be in the Wild Area?”, she finally asked, curious on what it is.

“Well~”, she said with a smile, “It’s this!”. When she said that, she took out something from her bag. The item was a Dynamax Band, but it was an all black-ish color, instead of it’s more iconic white with red and blue stripes, on the top and bottom of it. “Huh, is that it, just a new color of the Dynamax Band?”, she asked, confused on what makes it different from a usual band. “No, there’s more to it!”, she said, as she gave it to Marnie, who took it, “It can make Pokémon Dynamax, it can even work if the Pokémon is not on a power spot or in a Max Raid Battle!”. Marnie looked at Dynamax Band and now was intrigue by it, “So, why did you asked me come here and look at it?”, she asked out of curiosity.

Gloria smile, “Well”, she said, “The person who made it, Sonia, still needs to test it and to see if it works or not. So, I recommend you to test it!”. “But, why me?”, Marnie replied, wonder why, out of all the people in Galar, Gloria chose her. “Because if this does work, you can use it Spikemuth when you fight trainers, since it doesn’t have a power spot. Plus, you were the first person I thought of. So, will you help me and Sonia?”. Marnie thought about it for a few seconds, then she looked at Gloria, “Alright, I will help you lot out.”, she said with a smile.

“Great!”, Gloria said happily, “So, all you need to do is put it on and do what you usually do when you Dynamax a Pokémon!”. Marnie listened to what to do. When Gloria was done explaining on how it works, she put it and got out Morpeko’s Poké Ball. “Are you ready?”, she asked Morpeko. “Urara!”, said her Pokémon. She smile a small bit, then she called the Pokémon back in to its Poké Ball. However as she did that, the band shocked her, causing her to drop Morpeko’s Poké Ball, which released her Pokémon. “Ow!”, she yelled in pain. “That wasn’t supposed to happen, maybe Sonia still needs to work on it.”, Gloria said.

However, before they can continue talking, Marnie started to notice that everything was getting small. “Why is everything shrinking?”, Marnie asked confusedly. “Everything is not shrink, you’re growing!”, replied Gloria. When Gloria said that, Marnie started to panic.“What!?”, she said, as she continue to grow. “It has to be from the Dynamax Band. So try to take it off!”, said Gloria. So Marnie tried to take it off, but it wouldn’t come off. “It didn’t want to come off!”, said Marnie, who is panicking even more. Gloria thought of another idea, “Since Sonia made this version of the Dynamax Band, maybe she can help!”. Marnie looked down at Gloria and said, “Yeah, but where is she.”. “She is in Hammerlocke getting something to eat”, Gloria said, “So, let’s head there now!”. “Ok..”, Marnie said reluctantly. She didn’t want to cause a panic in the city and accidentally crush something underneath her shoes, but if she didn’t, she would continue to grow and crush the entire region under her. So, they made there way to Hammerlocke to get Sonia.

It was a normal day in Hammerlocke, until they felt earthquakes and saw what was causing those said earthquakes. As Marnie entered the city, people and Pokémon started to panic. Marnie sighed, knowing that this would happen, but she continued to look for Sonia, although she had to be more carefully not to step on anyone. “She should be in the Battle Café.”, said Gloria, who was next her. “Ok.”, replied Marnie, as she made her way to the Battle Café. As she walked, the ground started to crack under her due to how big she is. When they got to the Café, Gloria said, “Here we are! Let me get Sonia and you don’t move, ok?”, Gloria yelled. “Ok”, answered Marnie. So, entered the building, while Marnie waited.

As she waited, she looked around and saw how small everything truly is. The buildings in front of her are about the same height of her shoes, and still getting smaller. Finally, Gloria came out of the café, along with Sonia. “What is the problem, Gloria?”, asked Sonia. Then she looked in front of her and Marnie growing, “Oh, I think I know what the problem is.”. “What is it?”, asked Marnie, who wants to go back to her regular size. “Well, pick me, Gloria, and Morpeko so we can help you.”, replied Sonia. So, Marnie lowered one of her hands so they can jump on. Once they are on her hand, she bought it back up to her. “Alright, all you should do is just click ‘Emergency Shutdown’ on the screen which should shrink you down to your normal size.”, said Sonia. “Ok”, replied Marnie, as she did what Sonia instructed to do.

However, instead of shrinking her back down, it sped up her growth by a lot. “What’s going on!?”, she said, as she kept on growing. “I don’t know! That should have worked!”, said Sonia, confused on why that didn’t work. Soon, her shoes started to bulldoze nearby shops. Marnie put everyone that was on her hand, on her shoulder. “Hang on, you lot!”, said Marnie, as she made her way out of Hammerlocke. Now in the Wild Area she looked for a place to go to. Finally, she saw the ocean and started heading towards it. Although, she wasn’t watch on where she stepped, as she crushed wandering Pokémon underneath her shoes.

Finally, she made it to the ocean and in time too, as she was about half the size of the whole region. “That was close”, she said, knowing that if she stood there, she would have ended the lives of all the people who lived there. She looked around and saw many other islands and regions. So, she decided to explore the world while she had a chance, being that she is continuing to grow. She started to walk to island to island to look at them. When she encounter a different region, she would kneeled down and look at it.

One region however, was the Sinnoh region, in which she did something different. Since she was big that her head was above cloud level, she decided she wants to pick the region to get a better view of it. So she bend down and dug her hands underneath of it. Then she pull it out of the ground and looked at it. She was amazed at how small everything was truly. “So small..”, she said. After she done looking at it, she putted back down on where it was.

After that, she started to see space and everything that was in space. “Woah...”, she said. However, before she can continue to look at everything, the back of her head hit something. “Ow! What happened!”, she said while rubbing the back of her head. She saw the thing that hit the back of her head was the moon, which now has a giant crater on it. “Sorry...”, she said to no one in particular. So, she was big enough that the planet’s gravity couldn’t hold her, so she started to float in space.

Eventually, when she could fit the entire planet in her hands, she stopped growing. “Finally, I think I am done growing.”, she said. She then grab the planet, which is causing severe damage to the planet (although she couldn’t tell), and brought it towards her. She then sighed sadly after seeing how small the planet is. But then, something else came to her mind. “I wonder how they are doing on my shoulder.”, she told herself.

Meanwhile on Marnie’s shoulder, all that Sonia, Gloria, and Morpeko see is black. “I think Marnie stopped growing.”, said Gloria, “But, now what do we do?”. Well, since she’s done growing, maybe all we have is wait so that way she can shrink.”, replied Sonia. “All right then, let us wait then.”, Gloria said. “Urara!”, Morpeko replied. So they decided to wait.
