Yes, but I like this version more. To be fair though, the sun went behind a cloud just as I clicked the shutter, so maybe that's why...

what exposure time did you use for your long time exposure?
did you use an ND-Filter?

I didn't have an ND-filter on me (wish I did), so I just stopped down the aperture and used about 0.8s exposure. But as I said, the sun went out just then, so the resulting image looks true to life, i.e. dull.

I have that problem often myself, without an ND filter you can not pull up the exposure time where it looks awesome ^^
