This work is not to be vectored, traced, copied, reposted, edited, or recolored. Reposting to other sites is fine so long as credit is given.For , whose request was Antoine and Sally sparring, since they seem to be the only two of the core group who know how to use swords. Obviously, they’re gonna have to practice on eachother.
Back in my 5,000 kiriban, I was unclear on the rules, and there was some confusion. That was my fault, and I felt terrible, so…here you go! ^_^ I would have done it anyway as a simple request, it’s an awesome idea, and this was a lot of fun to make.
I gave them wooden swords and a cheering section so everyone knows it’s not serious. I’d imagine a wooden sword would still freaking hurt a lot, it’s basically getting hit by the edge of a board at high speed, so there’s still plenty of incentive to not get hit. O_o
Sorry this took so long, I kept getting distracted by Chrono Trigger DS. :3 Must…level…up…

Great picture. They look like they enjoying themselves during a warm afternoon. Tails sign look really childlike but considerating that he is the youngest character of the team, I suppose we can let it past. I will bet on Antoine. I must admit that he is cool without his shirt.

Ohmygosh I knew you'd do an excellent job! I am SO so happy you decided to put the peanut gallery and sideline watchers in there. It adds an element of fun to the picture. Now that I think of it, this is sort of a good companion piece to your Ant/Sonic swimming lesson pic (yes I know that one is from the fanfic, but still, it is a smile-inducing training picture with sexy sexy Ant kicking ass).
Great job on Sally and Antoine's poses, they both look very dynamic. Bunnie's expression is my favorite in the picture, she just looks so darn excited.

Very nice action scene here. I think Antoine going shirtless may be him trying to show off for the girls. Sally looks suitably impressed with his skill with a sword, perhaps it interrupted an attack when he swiped at her like that. I imagine its indicative of an strong improvement in Antoine's skill over the last time, 'cause she looks pleasantly surprised too.
I can see this being a weekly affair for them, especially with the flags their friends seem to have with them. Surprised this sort of thing doesn't attract more attention (Or is everybody else behind the camera? 
Once again you've done an excellent job here. The colors and the figures are wonderful. And I love the way you've done Bunnie's hair. Very interesting reinterpretation of the character.

Yeah, I'm pleased with my Bunnie, I know she's...odd looking because she has Archie hair but SatAm fur and clothes...but...I like her anyway. ^_^ Thank you!

Meh, I say go with what you like as far as a characters looks. I personally prefer Bunnie with long hair (not big hair, but long I think fits her, even with the ears).

Another lovely piece that has continued to grow well and demonstrate stronger aspects of portraying character anatomy and different scenes to present characters within. You've presented the scene well and really brought the energy of the characters, particularly within the foreground of the two sparing. You can sense the thrill of the event and the addition of warm hues helps increase this atmosphere. What it also does is allow us to see how you have become a lot stronger in anatomy for the way each one has been posed is much better than before, making them feel rather lively and loosened up.
Colour is done well although certain aspects feel too dark. Bunnie comes across very dark and perhaps a lighter hue would allow certain parts of her appearance to become more easier to view. The background is touched upon well with colour, but again I feel that the trees come across as too dark and makes it hard to see the detail that you have added.
Other than that you have done a nice job.

Maybe I need to start compensating for my cheap scanner with lighter markers. I keep hoping I'll have enough money to get a good scanner so I don't have to mess with the brightness and contrast to get shading, pink, and light blue hues to show up. The original of this isn't nearly so dark, but again, instead of waiting for a better scanner, perhaps I should just start coloring differently. Thank you for bringing the problem up, and for your review, I always appreciate hearing from you!

I'm surprised he didn't put the popcorn ON a chili dog. Considering he was planning to put a whole tub of wasabi on them in your fic, I think anything would be fair game.

Ahh, Now this is truly excellent. Thank you for putting this pic up, although I think both Sal and Ant are competent enough and know each other well enough to use genuine swords for training purposes.
It helps one to get better wih blades if they train with a full weight steels, after all.
(And that bit of useless trivia is part of the reason I have no right to comment on good artwork. It's facts like these that spoil it for everyone.)

Heh, yeah, like I said, there was a specific reason I gave them wooden ones. Int he Azami vs Antoine picture (the original, not the chapter illustration) I gave them live blades partly because I wasn't sure if it was serious or not, but here I wanted to make the point clear.

This is amazing! Great use of motion! and yes those things do hurt quit a bit...and can break small bones... For whatever reason the Shirtless Antoine makes me smile (Think it may be the chest fluff) Also I like how you split the cheering section, with sonic more intrested in the snack then the winner ^-^

Seriously, good stuff. This is probably your fullest looking pic yet, actually. The background's fully realized and there's a much better sense of space than in your usual fare. The composition is also helpful in that regard, spreading things out a bit more evenly. Really, though, it's the characters that make it great, as always. Sal and Ant look to be having a grand old time, and I like how they have their own cheering sections.

Thanks. Full compositions are a new thing to me, so I'm still groping my way around them. Like...seriously new, I think it was as of....um...just a few months ago, not even a year, did I start regularly doing backgrounds, so I have a lot to catch up on. ._.

x.x I have a somewhat favorably distorted view on Antoine. I've taken the aspects of him that I like and have magnified and expounded on them. In SatAm he's little more than comic relief as the neurotic coward who talks funny. The comics are kinder to him once things get serious, though.
But keeping this in mind, I hope you do pick up SatAm or read an Archie comic at some point. ^_^
