Antoine's color is a lil different than what I usually go for, I generally like him darker, but...ah well, failed experiment I suppose.
I really do approve of Sonic having a major weakness. If he's gonna be an astounding badass in one thing (speed, duh) then he should be dismal in another. Character balance and all that.
Yes, I KNOW there was a SatAm episode where Antoine claims he can't swim. I call bullsh*t. Canines who've never seen anything deeper than a water dish in their lives can swim if you throw them into water deep enough to facilitate it. I think they were just overplaying the whole useless coward angle is all. e.e

Well, Ant actually did become quite tough later into the Comic series. After he and Bunny got married, Antoine took over his position as leader of the Royal Guard properly, and turned out to be really brave and good at it. He just kind of needed the right push, and Bunnie provided it.
But this is ROFL! Poor Sonic! And yes, I do support that they did actually give him a weakness, and a heck of one at that. Poor boy sinks like a rock in water.

I liked that they did that. They make such a great couple.
The funny part is, way back in the first five issues, when Bunnie is first introduced, Antoine actually points at her with a curious expression and says "Who, or what, is that?" like she really caught his eye from that first moment. Who cares that Antoine was like 18 and Bunnie was only 14.

Well, I don't think they really got married until Bunnie was like 18, but I see what you mean.
I don't think they have a really solid year system for the comics, but I have noticed that you can actually track which comics (besides the ones where they actually do it) Sonic's birthday would have been in. It takes a little bit of figuring, but it was fairly accurate.

How deep is the water? Antoine's standing in it, so I guess Sonic's freaking out too much to realize he's in shallow water. XD
