Antoine's color is a lil different than what I usually go for, I generally like him darker, but...ah well, failed experiment I suppose.
I really do approve of Sonic having a major weakness. If he's gonna be an astounding badass in one thing (speed, duh) then he should be dismal in another. Character balance and all that.
Yes, I KNOW there was a SatAm episode where Antoine claims he can't swim. I call bullsh*t. Canines who've never seen anything deeper than a water dish in their lives can swim if you throw them into water deep enough to facilitate it. I think they were just overplaying the whole useless coward angle is all. e.e

Yes, I am aware. I own the comics. Many people don't, however, and only remember Antoine from SatAM, where he was constantly portrayed as nothing but a selfish coward.

That's the problem of being aerodynamically shaped.
BTW, Antoine was already bashed enough in his "cowardice". He gets better over time, particularly a little before Operation: EndGame.

Antoine has the potential to be awesome, they just didn't do a good job of that in SatAM. Not that I didn't like the cartoon, however.

I'd imagine she knows how, but the metal parts make bouyancy difficult. In the comics, she's been shown to use her extending limbs to walk along the bottom of bodies of water, and she also has footjets which can skim her over it, so I don't imagine water is a huge problem for her.
