This began as an attempt to reprise my previous humaRidley. I got curious about how the other three key bosses might turn out, so I tried them. I'll explain a bit for those of you unfamiliar with the game, or those of you who haven't played in a while.

KRAID-the big fat guy. In the game, he's a huge lizard that takes up several screens. He has three navels, and they all shoot spiked green things at you. Belly button lint of DOOM. Unintentionally hilarious for me. Nikki's take upon seeing this humaKraid was "He looks about ready to go rob a convenience store!"

RIDLEY-the wing-dude. He's basically a fancy pterosaur, but I prefer the whole 'space dragon' thing. He's the badass of the game, really, and he's definitely the leader, at least, when Mother Brain's not paying attention. I accidentally made his uncolored version look almost EXACTLY like one of my Megaman X fan characters...whose last name is Norfair, which is probably why it happened. (Norfair is where Ridley lives, you see.) Apologies for that.

PHANTOON-the little guy. He's a powerful ghost comprised of shipwrecked souls...I'd assume some space pirate victims found their way in there too. He looks like a balloon with one big eyeball and two tentacles. Here, however, for some weird reason, he ended up as a kid. Considering how many different souls are likely involved with Phantoon, I guess he can look like any one of them whenever he pleases. I REALLY wanted to give that kid tentacles coming out of his shoulderblades, but the picture was busy enough. I say he still has 'em, they just retract. Or something.

DRAYGON-the last one. Looks like a gynormous mutant shrimp. In the game, he has a big belly that's his weak spot, but I already had a fat guy, so I had to think of something else. A friend suggested he fill the 'nerd' niche. You know what? He's right! Draygon's battle room is the only one that fights back, and his arena's full of junk. He's a nerd! He also gave me the most trouble, as you can see by the ink mistakes and very static pose that I was forced to use.

So as I drew this, the position of Ridley's tail and Phantoon's arm just kinna...happened. I held it out to look at it and went "AAAH!! I JUST ACCIDENTALLY MADE SUPER METROID SHOTACON SLASH! How the HELL did that happen?!" So yeah. No intention there, totally innocent, I assure you, but eh. Take it as you will I guess, you freak you. X3

...yeah.

Now I have a powerful urge to experiment with some sort of weird alt universe Super Metroid RP with these guys.

I need professional help or something.
