Description
We saw it on the news, something was happening that no-one could explain. The man on the telly told everyone to keep calm, that emergency personnel were responding and everything was fine, oh how I wished that was true. We begged and pleaded for Mum and Dad not to leave but they argued that it was their job, their duty to protect and serve the people of Camden as first responders. They told us to lock up the house, to not let anyone in even if they were a friend, I could hear the urgency in their voices, it terrified me. We did what we were told, I didn't sleep that night, in fact nobody did.

It was a weight lifted off all our chest when the door opened and Mum and Dad were standing there, but something was wrong. They put on a cheerful smile as the pups rushed to greet them but I could sense that something was up, that day the whole family slept in the living room together. This went on for a week, Mum and Dad would leave for work and we would lock up the house and wait for them until that night......the night they never came home. It was the same night the power went out, we waited and waited for them to return but they never did.

Days after that night were rough to say the least, we tried are best but the pups were terrified and rightfully so. All around us we could hear gunfire and explosions as jets roared over head, but what was the worst was the occasional blood chilling scream coming for outside, it made my hair stand on end every time. Mum, Dad I...We really miss you right now. Things only got worse, over the world wide woof dogs all over the city were crying out, some asking for info other looking for their human and some shouting for help, I tried to stop listening.

Slowly the world wide woof went silent along with everything else, it was so eire. Not long after that food began to run out, we were getting desperate, I suggested that if we ration the remaining food we could stay in the house for another week. Everyone agreed but it seems hunger can make someone do irrational things, a few of the pups snuck out to look for food. By the time anyone realized, it was too late, a few of the pups were attacked by something. What ever did this had bite them, out of no where they began to get aggressive, kicking, scratching trying to bite the others. We did the only reasonable thing and locked them in the basement.

They got out during the night, I awoke to the screams from the pups. It was chaos, pups were running everywhere trying to get away from those things. There was so much blo....blood everywhere and they where eating the others, I nearly got sick. We got most of the pups to the second and barracked the stairs but it was no use. These thing broke through and attacked again, my own brothers and sisters were eating each other, it was sickening. I had to do something, I grabbed the first thing I saw that could be used as a weapon and began beating my own siblings no these monsters. We got up to the third floor but these beast kept coming and the one that had been bitten changed so fast, it was the stuff of nightmares. The few of us left swung and bashed them with anything we could get are paws on, pots, pans, tools even the skateboard became a weapon but it was all in vein.

They reached the third floor now, the only way we can go now is up. We got into the attic and locked the door but there's too many of them and so few of use. The door broke open and the undead beasts poured in, the sound was horrifying, screams and biting, the tearing of flesh, I froze up as the hoard drew closer. Right in front of me was my family my brothers and sisters now unrecognizable blood thirsty monsters eating each other. I couldn't move, I just stood there covered in the blood of my family just dumbfounded by the events that were occurring right in front of me. I had failed, I failed everyone, I was ready to die but she saved me. My dear sister pulled me up onto the roof, she truly saved my life. She looked just as terrified as I was, and at that moment I knew that I would everything possibly to keep the five of us alive.

We can hear them clawing at the hatch, it won't hold them for much long. There was only one place left that could keep us safe, the treehouse, it has everything that we need, food, water and the boards going to the top could be removed. The beasts are breaking through now, we have to be quick before they over run us.

Its halloween so here's some spooky stuff, I kinda got the idea just reminiscing of the good ole cod zombies days and listening to metal while I made this.
