Description Upon the breaking of the dawn,
the world will wake, the dreams have gone.
The sun will grace the dew-tipped grass,
and the nightmares of the dark are now long past.
The songbird in the yew tree will sing a keening tune;
and the sparrows in the maple will await the coming June.
For then, no longer, the cold will cling to daybreak,
and then, no longer, the sun will rise o’er frozen lakes.

For the sunrise in the peak of summer lives
and breaths, the grandest sight this world e’er gives.
To see the breaking dawn over hills of verdant green-
the most vibrant sight that e’er I’ve seen;
‘Tis the sweetest thing in all the world, I know,
to see the sun rising, and to see the winter go.

For the portfolio? All ten. I edited a few that were already on dA too, and used them. ^^

Very good! I could totally hear someone read this in a Shakespearian tone.
