"You've already solved it..." he said with a faint twinkle in his eye.

L just nodded, his hands in his pockets.

"Explain it to us then..." Hannibal said, his eyes enlarging a fraction.

L's stare remained steady like an owls, reading him, not blinking.

"If you're going to do this on your own you shouldn't show in person so much, monsters out there aren't as polite as I am to a 17 year old detective with so much of the world under his belt..." Hannibal echoed after him.

L just smiled a little as he rounded the corner, "Sound advice all to late..." he said as the door shut with an iron clang behind him.
