Description
Bonnibel Bubblegum and Marceline Abadeer from the Adventure Time episode "What Was Missing?"This drawing took over 14 hours, although I wonder how much of that time was spent with my iPad on while I watched TV?
Drawn on Sketch Club for the iPad.
I'm still not used to drawing digitally. This has been a fun experience. c':

First, I love that you chose this moment. Everyone points to Marceline's song as the center of conflict in this episode, but it's this moment that really sets things off. So props to you for recognizing that. It's why I'm giving you the 4.5 for vision.
I sort of didn't know what to do with the originality category. On the one hand, what I said about your vision makes this sort of original even if the scene itself is almost straight from the show. So, 4 stars for you. You go, Glen Coco.
Technically, this is very close to perfect in my opinion. I think Marceline's arms are a bit angular at the elbows. The perspective on her may be a bit exaggerated as well (as in I think she ought to be a bit bigger in comparison to PB), but the judgement of distance is largely a matter of opinion. And it's not so noticeable that it makes the piece awkward to view as a whole. The style mimicry is almost uncannily good. So, 5 stars for you e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="

4.5 for impact. I happen to love this scene and you've captured it rather beautifully. Very, very nice work.

Thank you!
This was my favourite shot of them in the episode, and I felt it summed up all their emotions quite nicely.
Yea, I realized her elbows weren't rounded enough but, honestly, I didn't want to try fixing it and making it look worse. XDD
As for their relative size; instead of drawing it like it is in the screencap, the realistic part of my drawing abilities decided to go for realistic perspective. I like the way it turned out, but it would've probably put a little more "oomph" into the emotion of the picture if Marceline was more in Bubblegum's face.
Thank you for the thoughtful critique!! c':

Oh wow! The lines are so clean and it look exactly like the shows style! I'm impressed, sometimes that can be really hard to do! I certainly can't do it anymore

Thank you! I'm new to the series and art style, and this is my first time drawing anything like this. I wanted to draw as exact as I could to get a good feel for this whimsical style.
I think I might make my own version of this picture once I'm more comfortable with drawing it. c':
