Description
This was a commission i had done of the world map my story takes place on done by who is an Excellent painter go check out his page! let him know i sent ya~ ;D
Ahem anyways this is a satellite planet about a big as earth is maybe a little bit smaller with a population of 65 million people inhabiting it orbiting around a gas giant a bit bigger than our jupiter who has 2 other habitable moons orbiting a G-type star much like our own in asolarsystem of 8 planets in the far north(?) side of the milky way galaxy in one of the spirals.
I still have yet to separate countries and regions and name EVERYTHING since this is not earth, naming everything will be harder so this is still a work in progress
soo now you know where Rico n them live. Its not earth.

JUST A DAILY REMINDER THAT THIS UNIVERSE IS AWESOME, and I'm always eager to see where you go with the story. Someday you'll have time to relax and develop it more! That said, do you suppose that in the future you'll ever add landmarks and such to this map, to show where key points are-- such as where Rico and co live, and so on? I'd love to see where's-where in this story.

Haha yeah, I hear ya there! If you're having trouble with names, I'd recommend a translation dictionary (for "sound ideas" or etymology), like Wiktionary .

Hmmm, if you need any help dishing out the countries I could give it a shot (once my commissions are done, at least). It's all in experimenting, and seeing what looks and sounds good. You can do it!

honestly all i really need help with is all the borders between countries, the population isnt as much as earth's so theres a lot of untouched territory on it

Wow! This is extremely impressive! I love the detail on the equator and the continents! Reminds me of several fractured Pangaea. Also, your other stuff is amazing as well, especially your girls.

terra is very much different to ismosoth isn't it, as terra is more large land masses with two huge connecting oceans

ara? this looks remarkably like a world generator and editor i used awhile back though it never generated anything like this. waaaaay to specifically made to have been generated which means it was probably made from scratch. which if i recall was a reaaaaaaal pain in the ass to learn just to edit a generated map. my hat is off to whoever made this.
on that note its a really interesting looking world. gives me a yin yang kinda feel. not sure why.

dont those get extremely hot? gas giants are basically pre-stage suns they just haven't quite ignited. some may not ignite in a trillion years. and some might just ignite from a 1 inch meteor. ether way im pretty sure they get REAAAAALY hot

mmm actually i read up alittle and it seems gas giants which are mostly comprised of hydrogen and helium can tend to be pretty hot even having molten rock cores which can even be dissolved and dispersed throughout the planet. however there is also "ice giants" which are composed mostly of water,ammonia, and methane molten ices. was interesting to read up on. didn't know jupiter and saturn can have temps of roughly 20.000 k
while neptune has a rough temperature of 55 K (−218 ° C)
in summary i guess we were both right and both wrong

oh! i had a interesting realization and thought earlier today.
I've noticed you've on alot of your pictures stated alot of parts of your characters stories and about their world though fragmented you can piece it together if you take the time to read them.
so i was wondering if you perhaps ever thought of writing up a small biography and description of your characters and their world. you even have the world map now it seemed appropriate to mention this thought.

well i am a too the point kind of guy. but if a detailed explanation is what youre looking for For several years i have been revising this story, only up until 2012 did i really get it going, i havnt really wrote the whole thing because there is so much to consider and think about and the fact theyre on a world that is not earth with 2 other neighboring earth like planets makes it more complicated. plus ive had to scrap and rethink many many things. I still have much to add, feel s like i have 20% of it done in all. its scattered and in parts.
