"Growing up i always had the edge over Rico in raw power, he had never been able to beat me in a sparing match even with his speed. But when My brother turned the tide in his favor after that long fight with our father Appolion something happened to him to give him the edge to overpower him, he changed... I can honestly say ive never seen him so lost in anger, it chilled me down to the bone i was so terrified! He turned into something similar to Appolion but different, when the fight was over and he dealt the death hand on him i tried to reach out to him... he turned and all i saw in his yellow eyes was a beast, a killing machine! as he took a swing at me i donno how he came back so quickly but he did and stopped as his claws were literally a hair away from my neck, somehow through all that he regained his awareness and changed back (passing out of course) to normal, i was afraid and also fascinated by it. From that experience i learned that what he could turn into then so could i, and that it can be controlled just like our other forms and i wanted it too! I wanted to gain it, master its power, make it mine! from there on he and i sought to learning how to use this new form we decided to call "Despair". he learned how to change in and out of it on a whim and i... well i didnt have such an easy time, i couldnt figure out how he did it! man i was envious of him... he was actually stronger than me for a time and my competitive self kept me at it. then one night after several weeks of trying it happened! i transformed! at first the extra row of teeth was very uncomfortable, in fact it still kinda is after all this time, i bit my tongue once! god that hurt!... but that hand tail does come in handy, and the power felt unrestrained. It felt good! so good that i wanted to use it more and more.
Of course Rico had to give me a long talk about how our power is not a toy and we shouldnt abuse it... tch i hated that he was right... but that is when i made up my mind to train myself not to fall into temptation. though it didnt stop me from using it when it was most convenient. he was reluctant to use it as much since well... he had to kill with it... so it was understandable that he only used it when he REALLY needed it. I had to reassure him that we are not killers by nature, that we are still us even with this new power and nothing can change that fact. Though ill admit i like to goof off while using it hehe! we are still learning how to use it and what its capable of, so far its proven to be our most durable and physically strongest forms, we could even regenerate ourselves from fatal wounds which is a great bonus! and damn he can beat me in our sparring matches ugh thats frustrating though im glad he can beat me now! means i dont have to worry so much about protecting him as much."
